HANOVER, Va. – Today at approximately 10 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to the 11300 block of Cross Corner Road for report of a suspicious vehicle sitting on private property.
Deputies approached the vehicle and located a single occupant in the driver’s seat deceased. Preliminary investigation appears to indicate that the death was the result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Hanover Sheriff’s Office is working with the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the actual cause of death of the decedent.
The decedent has been identified as Kevin Tyrice Reynolds, 30, of District Heights, Maryland. Investigators have been working in conjunction with the Prince George’s County (Maryland) Police Department and have determined this individual was charged in connection to the double homicide in their jurisdiction on Monday, March 7, 2016.
