Hanover, VA – The Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s assistance identifying a suspect involved in credit card fraud. On August 4, 2015, the suspect used the victim’s credit card information to make a fraudulent purchase at a local retail business in Mechanicsville.
The suspect (pictured below) is described as a black male with glasses, wearing blue jean shorts, a dark colored sleeveless t-shirt and a red hat.

Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637 (CRIMES), using the keyword “iTip” followed by their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
