Hanover, VA – On October 9, 2018, the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 7500 block of Cold Harbor Road for a 9-1-1 hang up. After entry was made to the residence, deputies located two adult males deceased from obvious signs of trauma.
Investigators are evaluating all evidence in this case and are working closely with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the actual cause of death. This was an isolated incident and no suspects are being sought.
The adult males have been identified as William Louis Simpson, Jr., 59, and William Louis Simpson, 84, of Mechanicsville.
