Hanover, VA – On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, Colonel David R. Hines, sheriff, had the honor of speaking at the Masonic Temple Lodge No. 9 A.F. & A.M., to commemorate National Police Week. During the meeting, Sergeant Terry Sullivan with the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office was presented with the Community Builders Award. This award recognizes the outstanding community-oriented achievements of non-Masons in the community.
Sergeant Sullivan serves as the Sergeant in charge of the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Intelligence Unit as well as the Crime Prevention Unit and the HCSO SHIELD initiative. Sergeant Sullivan also oversees the Sheriff’s Office Chaplain Program and the Sheriff’s Office Worship Watch Program. Sergeant Sullivan was recognized for his service and contributions to the Sheriff’s Office, the intelligence community, and the citizens of Hanover County.
