Hanover, VA – Deputies have arrested and charged Justin Michael Gonzalez, 28, Midlothian, with Robbery, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and Grand Larceny.
On Friday, December 2, 2016, at approximately 3:13 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to Citizens and Farmers Bank located in the 7000 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike for a report of a robbery. Bank employees reported that a white male approached a teller, displayed a note indicating he was armed, and demanded money. The suspect then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency.
Bank employees were able to obtain the suspect’s vehicle description, which was provided to responding deputies. Deputies quickly located the vehicle in the area of Brandy Hill Plaza and identified the driver and single occupant as Justin Michael Gonzalez, and he was arrested without incident. Gonzalez is currently being held with no bond at Pamunkey Regional Jail.
