Hanover, VA – On Thursday, May 12, 2016, at approximately 2:20 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to the CVS Pharmacy located at 7048 Mechanicsville Turnpike for a report of a robbery. Three male suspects entered the store and attempted to gain entry into the pharmacy. Once the pharmacy door alarm activated the suspects exited the store.
Before exiting the store, one of the suspects brandished a firearm. The suspects were all wearing dark clothing and hoodies. They were last seen running on foot towards Lee-Davis Road.
Just prior to the incident in Hanover County, at approximately 1:55 a.m., it is believed the same suspects robbed the Walgreens on South Laburnum Avenue in Henrico County.
