TRIAD

TRIAD is a national, state and local program focuses on reducing crimes against seniors through crime prevention education.  Hanover-Ashland TRIAD is a joint venture involving the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, Ashland Police Department, AARP,  Hanover County governmental departments, human service agencies, civic groups, as well as seniors themselves.  The intent of the program is to provide information, seminars, brochures, and presentations to seniors to assist them and improve their quality of life, which in turn will help the county.  The Hanover County Sheriff's Office is a part of the National TRIAD, as well as a member on the Board of the Virginia State TRIAD.

Hanover-Ashland TRIAD meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 1:30 PM. The group meets at the Atlee Branch Public Library, located at 9212 Rutlandshire Drive, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.  For more information contact Deputy Evan Povar at 804-365-6110 or ejpovar@hanovercounty.gov.
