Personnel Unit

Although we have numerous areas of responsibility, the main thrust of the Sheriff's Office Personnel Unit is the recruitment and selection of Patrol Deputies. As a result, much time and effort is devoted to maintaining high standards for all applicants in order to ensure that a high level of respect with our community is maintained. Only the highest caliber and most qualified professional personnel possible are selected to serve in such a respected position. Candidates who are fortunate enough to ultimately be selected for employment with the Hanover County Sheriff's Office will become a member of one of the most respected and professional Law Enforcement Agencies in the State.
